JR Paine is committed to workplace health and safety, from our President, managers to all of our employees.
The company has a strong corporate culture for safety programs and procedures that protects staff, property, clients, and the public from accidents, incidents, and personnel injury. JR Paine is proud to be a long-standing member of the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program, governed by Alberta Human Resources and Employment – Workplace Health & Safety and the Alberta Construction Safety Association.
All our employees and subcontractors are properly trained, knowledgeable, and required to complete a field level hazard assessment prior to undertaking any field testing or inspections on a project site. This assures that for every project we strive to provide a safe and healthy work environment and to work with companies that maintain these workplace standards.
Our staff maintains up-to-date training on standard and emergency first aid, fire extinguisher use, WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods), Defensive Driving, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level II and Traffic Flagging.
Environmental Stewardship
J.R. Paine & Associates Ltd. maintains a waste management and environmental policy aimed to educate, consider, and minimize or eliminate the imapcts of our work activities on the environment. The company emphasizes environmental stewardship, attitudes, and conservation practices as a primary goal to protect the environment and to ensure a safe and healthy work place environment.
