J.R. Paine and Associates Ltd. has an entry level position available for a graduate Civil Engineer (E.I.T.) at our Peace River office and laboratory facility. This is a full time position.
Duties will include:
- Geotechnical: Coordination and implementation of field testhole drilling programs, data compilation, report preparation, foundation bearing soil assessments, pile foundation construction inspections.
- Laboratory and Field Materials Testing: Laboratory work may include moisture content and Atterberg limit testing, standard proctor compaction testing, concrete testing, sieve analysis, and asphalt testing. Field work may include concrete testing, field compaction testing, asphalt sampling/coring and testing.
Most work will be Peace River based. Some out of town work may be required. A valid Class 5 drivers licence is a requirement.
